Return & Exchange Policy

Effective Date: July 2025

At Valiant African, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.

1. Eligibility for Return

You may return or exchange an item within 7 days of delivery if:

  • The item is unused, unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition and packaging
  • All tags, labels, and accessories are intact
  • You have the original receipt or proof of purchase

 

2. Items Not Eligible for Return

We do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Custom-made or made-to-measure items
  • Items marked “final sale” or discounted
  • Items that show visible signs of wear or damage not caused by us
  • Underwear or inner garments, due to hygiene concerns

 

3. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To begin a return or exchange, please email us at support@valiantafrican.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you want to return or exchange
  • A brief reason for the return
  • Clear photos of the item (if damaged or incorrect)

 

We’ll respond within 48 hours with return instructions.

4. Return Shipping

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases where the item was incorrect or damaged upon arrival.
  • If the return is due to our error, we will cover the return shipping or arrange pickup.
  • We recommend using a trackable delivery service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.

 

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the status. If approved, you may choose to receive:

  • A store credit (valid for 3 months)
  • A refund to your original payment method

 

Please allow up to 7 working days for the refund to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Exchanges

If you’d like to exchange for a different size or item:

  • Let us know the replacement item and size when initiating the return
  • We will ship the replacement after receiving your original item
  • If the replacement item is more expensive, you will be required to pay the difference before dispatch

 

7. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will resolve the issue promptly, either by refund, repair, or replacement.
